During lockdown, the streets of Camden were left dreary and derelict with shops closed and people kept inside. The director of Camden Open Air Gallery saw this and wanted to bring art to the people and his community. He got in contact with the shop owners and artists to organise the painting of these shutters, creating an open-air gallery on Camden high street.
